VAIL - According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department a mother and daughter are dead, a son is in serious condition and their husband and father are behind bars after a double homicide Friday night on the 400 Block of N. Tomasita Dr. in Vail.

PCSD said its deputies were called to the home for reports of an aggravated assault.

When deputies forced their way inside, they found 43-year-old Sandra Enriquez and her daughter Isabelle, 15, dead.

44-year-old Hernando Enriquez is in custody, charged with murder after being found a short distance from the scene in a ditch. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The couple's teenage son was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Authorities are not releasing his name at this time.

The investigation into the case is ongoing, as authorities try and find out a motive.

News 4 Tucson spoke to Judy Guill, a neighbor who lived next door to the Enriquez family on Saturday afternoon.

"They were just the perfect family, what can you say?," Guill said. She is left stunned heartbroken.

"I have no idea, everybody is in shock, I think," Guill, a neighbor of five years said. "They were precious. Isabelle was quite small when we moved here, she just had her Quinceanera this summer. They were really nice people. You couldn't ask for better."
