Rocket launch scheduled over Tucson

UPDATE:  The ULA DeltaIV #NROL47  launch was canceled on Thurs. 11 due to an issue with a ground system valve. The launch has been rescheduled for Fri. Jan, 12 at 2 p.m. Arizona time. 

The latest weather briefing shows that there is an 80 percent chance of favorable weather for the launch.

TUCSON - If you see a rocket in the sky tonight, don't panic it's supposed to be there.

The United Launch Alliance scheduled to launch a rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. 

The launch was set for sometime after 3 p.m. Arizona time. 

The rocket is said to be carrying a spy satellite for the United States government.
