A Tucsonan won over $1,000,000 on Arizona’s draw game, The Pick.

According to the Arizona Lottery, the winner switched up a usual routine, deciding to pick his/her own numbers for the game, based on family member birthdays. Which end up being the right thing to do, leading to $1.6 million jackpot.

The winner, who wants to stay anonymous, will continue to work and plans use the money to help out his/her boss.

The winning ticket was purchased at a south side Quicktrip (2345 E. Irvington Rd.).
