TUCSON - A storm system will bring a strong chance for valley rain and mountain snow.
A ridge of high pressure near Southern Arizona began to break down, and by Monday, high clouds will increase over the area. By Tuesday night, valley rain is likely for Southern Arizona, with mountain snow expected in elevations above 7000 feet.
This storm system isn't likely to stick around for long. Tucson should anticipate showers to exit by Wednesday afternoon, with above-normal temperatures returning by the end of the week.
