Oro Valley church donates $28K to Interfaith Community Services

Posted: Updated:

The Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene donated more than $28,000 to Interfaith Community Services.

The church raised the money by collecting donations during 11 musical performances in December, with almost 10,000 attendees, according to a church news release.

“I always tell our audience that we have never taken a church offering during our Christmas Musical performances,” said Craig Coulter, senior pastor. “However, we know how important it is to support local non-profits and we always ask our audience to support the critical work ICS does in our community by taking up a collection for them."

On Sunday, Pastor Chris Collins presented a large check to Daniel Stoltzfus, ICS chief executive officer.
