Man shoots at, detains Marana robbery suspect

MARANA – A man chased and shot at a robbery suspect, then detained him until police could arrive, investigators said.

Marana Police said Eric Allen Maynes, 28, used a knife to rob Nirvana Reflexology Spa, 3720 W. Ina Road on Wednesday.

One of the customers of the spa chased Maynes out into the parking lot and fired shots "in the direction, of Mr. Maynes," police said. 

He held Maynes at gunpoint until police arrived.

Maynes was arrested on felony armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping charges.
