TUCSON - Enjoy the 70s today, because a quick shot of cool air's dropping south.

A strong, but dry cold front sweeps across Arizona to wrap up the work week. According to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, daytime temperatures drop roughly 15° over the next 24 hours. Highs only reach the mid 50s Thursday, accompanied by gusty west-northwest winds up to 20 MPH.

Lows plummet into the mid to upper 20s by Friday morning. Metro Tucson is under a Hard Freeze Watch from midnight until 9 AM Friday. Areas south and east of Tucson likely wake up to the teens by daybreak Friday.
