Keeping it breezy in the Old Pueblo

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - Another round of gusty winds in the forecast.

Easterly breezes up to 25 MPH are possible through late tonight, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. The trigger for the Sonoran Wind Machine is a storm system over Northern Sonora. High temperatures today reach the mid 70s, running 8-10° above average. Lows tonight bottom out in the mid to upper 40s.

This system moves away from the state tomorrow, which helps decrease wind speeds.

High pressure near the Pacific Northwest regains control late  in the week, keeping daytime highs in the low to mid 70s. Ample sunshine prevails through the weekend.
