Pima deputies plan DUI checkpoint with Oro Valley police

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint with the Oro Valley Police Department on Saturday.

Deputies are reminding people that “buzzed” driving is impaired driving. Drivers can potentially lose their licenses, have their vehicles impounded, spend thousands of dollars in attorney fees and face legal consequences if they are caught.

Funding for the checkpoint is provided by grants from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
