Children's Museum Tucson to show 'Home Alone' on Saturday

Posted: Updated:

A viewing of “Home Alone” will be the highlight of the Children’s Museum’s Art after Dark on Saturday.

The holiday classic will be shown in the courtyard and will include popcorn, hot chocolate, holiday crafts and a photo booth. Dress warmly and bring a blanket or chairs to enjoy the show, which starts at 6 pm.

Visitors also can learn about exo-planets - those outside our solar system - with the folks from the International Association of Astronomical Artists. Children will be able to create their own planet to take home.

The Museum will also have a glowing paper lantern take-home activity for the kids.

The Museum, 200 S. Sixth Ave., will be open from 5:30-8 pm, with free admission for everyone.

The goal of the Art after Dark program is to provide exposure and access to the amazing array of arts within our community. It is supported by the David and Lura Lovell Foundation, the Finley Family Foundation and Tucson Federal Credit Union.
