Volunteers plan Redington Pass cleanup

TUCSON – Volunteers are planning a Redington Pass cleanup on Saturday morning.

The organizations Friends of Redington Pass and TreadLightly! are recruiting volunteers for their annual fall cleanup.

The group is meeting at the Coronado National Forest information kiosk past milepost 3. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The cleanup is planned from 9 a.m. until noon.

Organizers encourage volunteers to bring water, work gloves, a hat, sunscreen, trash pinchers, and buckets. They should wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are helpful.
