No chill November continues

TUCSON - New day, same warm weather story for the Sonoran Desert.

Near record high temperatures are in the forecast this afternoon, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Today's forecast high of 88° is just two degrees shy of tying the record set in 1999. Temperatures across Southern Arizona this afternoon run 10-15° above average under mostly sunny skies.

Daytime highs Wednesday and Thursday also flirt with the record books, peaking in the mid to upper 80s in Metro Tucson.

High pressure south of the border keeps the stretch of 80s going through the first part of Thanksgiving week. Near record high temperature return just in time for El Tour de Tucson.
