Allonzo Trier named Pac-12 Player of the Week

The Pac-12 conference named Arizona junior guard Allonzo Trier Pac-12 Player of the Week Monday.

Trier averaged 31 points per game in two Arizona wins over NAU and UMBC. The guard scored 32 against NAU on just 13 shots, then 30 on 18 shots.

Trier was recently named pre-season All-American by the Associated Press. He is currently tied for the national lead in scoring average with 31 points per game (min 2. games) and is tied eighth if accounting for players who have only played one game. Trier is tied for the scoring lead in the Pac-12.
