Olympic flame travels through South Korea

The Olympic Flame is making its way through South Korea ahead of the 2018 winter games in Pyeonchang.

On Tuesday, it was carried on a yacht for a special leg of the relay in the port city of Usan, South Korea.

So far, the torch has been carried through several cities and was greeted by cheering citizens.

The opening ceremony is on Feb. 9, 2018.

Women’s hockey team going for gold

The United States women’s hockey team is ready to take home a gold medal.

Team captain, Meghan Duggan, said her team is eager to stand on top of the podium after falling short of the title in previous years.

She said the team has cultivated a “championship culture” ahead of the games.

“I’m excited for the world to see what we have, because I’m just really passionate about our team and how far we’ve come and where we’re going to go,” said Duggan.

Duggan won silver medals in the Vancouver and Sochi Olympic Games.
