A vacant house went up in flames on the southwest side, on Monday.

When Tucson firefighters arrived to the 1900 block of West Pueblo Vista, near Cholla High School, they encountered heavy smoke and flames, according to TFD.

Tucson Fire Captain, Andy Skaggs, said as firefighters battled the blaze they discovered the flames caused a nearby power line to fall down.

Firefighters put up barrier tape as Tucson Electric Power cut power to the downed line, according to TFD.

Capt. Skaggs said no one was hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
