Olympic uniforms revealed & Lindsey Vonn makes a comeback

The United States and Germany unveiled their official team uniforms ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

German athletes will sport the colors of their flag: red, gold and black.

Last week, some of the Olympians modeled their team’s hoodies, parkas, hats and footwear.

Team U.S.A. will be wearing Ralph Lauren at the opening ceremony.

This year’s uniform includes a white, water-resistant jacket, a vintage red, white and blue sweater along with double-fleece pants with a red stripe.

The athletes will also have tons of patriotic accessories.

The Opening Ceremony is on Feb. 9, 2018.

Lindsey Vonn making a comeback in Pyeongchang

Alpine ski star, Lindsey Vonn, said she is keeping her eye on the prize as she makes her fourth Olympic Games appearance in Pyeongchang.

Vonn made her Olympic debut in Salt Lake City back in 2002.

She went on to win a gold medal in the Vancouver eight years later.

However, a serious knee injury sidelined her in Sochi which left her unable to defend her title.

Vonn is motivated to make a comeback in South Korea next year and said the stakes are high.

“So for these Olympics, it’s probably going to be the most amount of pressure and the most excited that I’ve ever been for a race in my entire life,” said Vonn.

She also said she is looking forward to the competition.
