2 people safely escape fire that destroys mobile home

TUCSON (KVOA) -- Two people safely escaped a fire that destroyed a mobile home on the northwest side early Monday morning.

Northwest Fire responded to a call at around 4:36 a.m. reporting a mobile home fully engulfed in flames in the 2700 Block of West Kimberly Street, near Camino De La Tierra and North La Cholla Blvd.

According to Northwest, the two male residents of the mobile home did not require medical attention.

It took 22 firefighters 25 minutes to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No other details are known at this time.
