TUCSON, Ariz. - One man has died and a woman was injured after an accident on Houghton and Seven Generations Way, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The man has been identified at 22-year-old Austin Ortiz.
Witnesses told police that Ortiz was weaving in and out of traffic at about 80 miles per hour on northbound Houghton.
He hit the front end of a Toyota Camry that was getting ready to make a left turn. Ortiz's car flipped and caught fire. When police responded to the scene they found him trapped inside.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames, however Ortiz was pronounced dead.
The Camry spun off the road and onto a walking path. The woman driving was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
She was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition, according to TPD.
