Police raise money for vandalized schools

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON – The Tucson Police Officers Association is helping raise money to repair damage at vandalized schools.

Repairs may cost more than $200,000 after a group of children vandalized 4 schools in the Amphitheater district last weekend.

TPOA will match up to $1,000 donated to an online fund-raising site. On Thursday the organization that represents the city’s police officers launched the site on GoFundMe.com.
