Jack in Box Player of the Week: Bennett Nottingham

Posted: Updated:

Sabino High School wide receiver Bennett Nottingham has been making plays all year, but it's hard to ignore a seven-catch 112 yard four touchdown game in a win over a playoff team in Empire.

Nottingham consistently beat one on one coverage on his way to the end zone. He isn't the biggest guy, listed at 5 feet 8 inches, 130 pounds but closer to 5 feet 11 inches, weighing 150 pounds, he uses every

trick to flash his quicks.

And his emergence has helped first year coach Ryan Mcbrayer in one AD, the first year after Drew Dixon.

Now the senior and his team enters the 3A playoffs looking to make another run at the state title. And if this is Bennett's last game or last few games, at least he's going out with a trophy
