TUCSON - A Halloween temperature treat for the Old Pueblo.

According to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, Tuesday's high temperature of 79° was the first 70° reading since May 16th. The average high temp for Halloween is 80°. Tuesday also marks Tucson's first below average daytime high since September 27th.

High pressure building over Mexico returns the 80s for highs through the first weekend of November. Enough moisture creeps into the state to provide partly cloudy skies Friday into early next week. Peak of the warmth arrives this weekend, as the Old Pueblo reaches the mid to upper 80s.

Long range computer models indicate the warm and dry pattern settling in over the next few weeks, with little hope for any measurable rainfall.
