Khalil Tate and Colin Schooler win Pac-12 Player of the Week

Arizona sophomore quarterback Khalil Tate, won the Pac-12 offensive player of the week award for the third consecutive week. Tate is the first player since 1988 to accomplish that feat, since Rodney Peete (Sahuaro High, USC).

Arizona freshman linebacker Colin Schooler won Pac-12 defensive player of the week after a 15-tackle game in which he made the knockdown on the final play of double overtime.

Tate threw for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception and ran for 137 more yards and another touchdown.

The Wildcats are 5-2 heading into homecoming week and a game against ranked Washington State.
