More evidence walking could help prolong your life.

A new study finds regular walking, even for just two hours a week, lowered the risk of early death compared to inactivity. Walking was especially effective in reducing deaths from respiratory and cardiovascular disease.

Experts say walking is the perfect exercise because it is simple, free, and can be done at any age.

Indoor tanning addiction

Many young women may be be addicted to indoor tanning.

A new Georgetown University study found one in five women who had tanned over the past year had developed a dependence. And women with symptoms of depression were three times more likely to have a tanning addiction.

About 10 percent of melanoma and skin cancers in the U.S. are linked to indoor tanning.
