News 4 Cooks - Sonoran Dogs

Ingredients:

  • Pure beef hotdog
  • Bacon , wrapped in thin slice of bacon. Use frying pan, lightly oiled, medium to high heat. Roll hotdog Sonoran Bun – We use Alajandro’s
  • Toppings: pinto beans, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, jalapeno relish, mayonnaise, mustard
  • Caribe pepper for garnish

Preparation:

  • Wrap the hot dog in a thin slice of bacon. In a lightly oiled frying pan on medium-high heat, roll hot dog until bacon is crisp on all sides.
  • Cook caribe in  pan with hotdog until is has nice roast on all sides.
  • Slice bun so hotdog can be placed inside. You can toast or steam the bun for added flavor.
  • Add toppings listed here, or add your own favorites!
