Warmth for all, rain for some

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - Sunshine for the Old Pueblo today, but a side of showers for portions of the Sonoran Desert.

High pressure east of the state adds some moisture to the atmosphere, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. As a result, there is an isolated shower chance along & east of a Willcox-Sierra Vista line today. Areas west of that line stay dry wrapping up the work week.

Daytime highs peak in the low to mid 90s this afternoon though the middle of next week. For perspective, the average high temperature for mid October is in the mid 80s.

Watch Jeff for a complete look at your 4WARN extended forecast today at noon. Follow Jeff's weather updates on FacebookTwitter and his blog.
