Pima County Sheriff's deputies search for assault suspect

Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man accused of punching a Circle K clerk in the face. 

According to a news release, the store clerk was standing outside the Circle K at 5818 S. Palo Verde Road on Sept. 17 when the suspect approached him. 

The man punched the clerk in the face multiple times, according to PCSD. 

The victim told police the man said he was upset that he was not given a courtesy cup the week before. 

The suspect was chased off by the victim's friend. 

The man is described as being in his 30s with short brown hair and a goatee. He is between five feet eight inches and five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeved button down, black pants and a black backpack. 

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, if you wish to remain anonymous.
