We have some major developments in the story of a property problem involving a south side mobile home. The case went to court on Tuesday afternoon. We have the latest now in this  News 4 Tucson Investigators follow-up.

The decision was made after people were found living in a home owned by Jackeline without her knowledge near Drexel and Palo Verde.

The court appearance settled on an agreement that the people currently living in the home had to pay back rent for the months of September and October. The people living in the home also had to vacate the property by October 31st. The money owed needed to be paid by October 10th. If they failed to do so, Jackeline’s family had the right to return to court.

If they had to return to court, the new occupants would be removed immediately. Jackeline told News 4 Tucson Investigators that she was satisfied with the agreement.

The mobile home was rented out by occupants who had borrowed nearly $4,000 from a woman named Megan Dalton. This money was used to pay a man named Carlos Gonzales who had the home listed on Facebook. This money paid for first and last month’s rent.

“Just be aware of you home, you know. If you’re going on vacation just make sure somebody is checking out your house,” said Jackeline.
