This year’s National Alliance on Mental Illness candlelight vigil will include a moment of silence for victims of the Las Vegas tragedy.

It will take place at 6-7 p.m., Tuesday at the Cancer Survivors Plaza, Reid Park.

Mental Illness Awareness Week is Oct. 1-7 and after the vigil speakers will tell their stories about how mental illness has affected their lives.
