The Oro Valley Music Festival wrapped up its second and final day of 2017.
"We're music lovers,” said festival attendee, Deirdre Flannery. “If there's music, we're there!" Flannery attended the festival with two of her long-time friends. All three live in Tucson.
The three- year-old festival was held at The Golf Club at Vistoso and opened Saturday September 30th and wrapped up Sunday, October 1st.
“No matter where you go you can get a good view of the stage which is really important,” said Cathy Wallis, who had the idea to attend the festival for her friend’s birthday.
Approximately ten-thousand people came to see performers like Train, Leann Rimes, and Gavin DeGraw
According to Rich Elias, general manager of the Golf Club at Vistoso, the estimated local economic impact in 2017 could be more than $6 million.
