Autumn warmth wins the weekend

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - All aboard the 90s train!

Highs this afternoon run 3-5° above average, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Mostly sunny skies prevail wrapping up the work week, while storms may develop east of Tucson. While a stray storm can't be ruled out atop Mount Lemmon, scattered storms should stay confined to areas along and east of a Safford-Douglas line.

A few isolated storms may redevelop along the Arizona/New Mexico border tomorrow, in response to a weak storm system passing by.

Expect mid to upper 90s for highs tomorrow through much of next week. Ample sunshine is expected for the foreseeable future.

Watch Jeff for a complete look at your 4WARN extended forecast today at noon. Follow Jeff's weather updates on FacebookTwitter and his blog.
