TUCSON - The Old Pueblo was spared from 90° temps yesterday. The next seven days will be a different story.
Highs reach the low 90s under mostly sunny skies this afternoon, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Like yesterday, isolated storms are possible near the Arizona/New Mexico border to wrap the work week. Activity likely stays confined to areas along and east of a Safford/Douglas line today and tomorrow.
Overnight lows drop to the mid 60s in Metro Tucson, which is warmer than the last several nights.
High pressure builds east of the state, driving a warming trend heading into October. Expect mid 90s for highs tomorrow through Wednesday. While partly cloudy skies may develop Saturday, ample sunshine is expected for the foreseeable future.
