Hear from Tucson's Oscar Valdez, after he gets up from knockdown to retain title on ESPN fights at TCC

Nogales-born,Tucson-raised featherweight Oscar Valdez was knocked down in the fourth round in the title fight against Genesis Servania, but came back to knock his Filipino foe down in the 5th, and in the end, survive with a unanimous decision after 12 rounds.

It was a big night of boxing in the Old Pueblo as the Tucson Convention Center had tens of millions of viewers on ESPN seeing all the action in 3 title fights and some entertaining undercards featuring 3 gold medalists from the Olympics.  

Scorecards for the Valdez-Servania fight were 116-111, 119-111 and 117-109 all for Valdez.
