TUCSON - Summer's unofficially over with, but we're got a loaded slate for this September weekend.

The work of Arizona painter James G. Harris will be celebrated Saturday night. Etherton Gallery downtown is the place to be to see his four decades of work. The opening reception for "Down at the Tower Bar" runs from 7-10 PM. Click here for more information.

Steam Pump Ranch in Oro Valley has a new concert series starting up this weekend. Every second Saturday between now and March, you can see a new live act for free. This weekend, check out folk rock musician Amber Norgaard. Her two hour show starts at 9:30 AM. Click here for the complete schedule.

How about some archery after dark? You can take your best aim at the International Wildlife Museum Friday evening. They'll provide the bows and arrows. All you need to do is show up! Archery After Dark runs from 5-8 PM. Click here for admission prices.

Finally, the wild card pick highlights some pregame football festivities. News 4 Tucson is a proud sponsor for Bear Down Fridays at Main Gate Square. It's a pep rally the night before each home game, complete with the Wildcat marching band, Wilbur and Wilma. Bear Down Fridays runs from 4-7 PM. Click here for more details.
