TUCSON - For the 55th time in 2017, the Old Pueblo reaches triple digit territory.
Highs this afternoon peak in the 103-105° range across Metro Tucson, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Mostly sunny skies prevail this afternoon for much of Southern Arizona. Scattered storms should be confined to Graham and Greenlee Counties today.
While a stray storm can't be ruled out in the metro this evening, mostly clear skies should prevail.
The best chance of isolated storms arrives tomorrow, with Tucson's rain chances at 20%. Thereafter, drier air works in. Highs for the work week reach the 100s as mostly sunny skies prevail Wednesday and Thursday.
Isolated thunderstorms may return Friday into the weekend, courtesy of a slight moisture boost from the Gulf of California.
