Coach Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats were on a roll in Spain as their international basketball tour continued.  However, that all came to a halt alter the terrorist attack in Barcelona just blocks from the player's hotel.

Now, the U of A is saying the team is canceling the final game and working on plans of coming home.

Here in Tucson, we at News 4 Tucson caught up with Arizona coaching legend Lute Olson, who also led Team USA to a gold medal in the 1986 World Championships -Also in Spain.

The team included former Cats Sean Elliott and Steve Kerr.
In a sit down, "1-on-1" interview, Coach Olson told News 4 Tucson's Paul Cicala that, even over 3 decades ago terrorist threats were high in the Iberian Peninsula and all throughout the Mediterranean.
Lute Olson said, "When I coached the U.S. team to the World Championship, we played in Madrid, (Spain).  We were the first American team to go over there after (the USA) bombing Libya.   We had helicopters over the bus, patrolmen on motorcycles, back and front.  We had no problems, but it's so different now."
