Arizona basketball opens Spain trip with blowout win

The Arizona Wildcats opened their Spain trip with a 113-44 win over Cambinado Valenciano, a team of Spanish players made up of men aged 19-33. Brandon Randolph, a 6-foot-5 freshman guard led Arizona with 21 points, showing off some impressive shooting skills.

Hyped freshman DeAndre Ayton scored 10 points and added 9 rebounds in his first action in a Wildcat uniform. His big man counterpart, senior center Dusan Ristic scored 4 points and led Arizona with 14 rebounds. Allonzo Trier started his campaign for National Player of the year with a 17 point effort against the over matched Spaniards.

Arizona has two more games on its foreign trip, both in Barcelona.
