Here's more from the Associate Press:

Justin Gatlin was greeted with boos Sunday when he entered London's Olympic Stadium to collect his world championship gold medal for the 100 meters. Fellow American Christian Coleman, the silver medalist, was warmly greeted by the crowd of about 60,000 spectators. Jamaican star Usain Bolt received massive cheers after settling for bronze Saturday in the final individual race of his career.

Gatlin's career was interrupted twice by doping suspensions, resulting in his portrayal as a bad guy set against Bolt's charismatic, fun-loving personality.
