City of Tucson seeks input regarding plan for mountain bike skills park

Tucson- The Tucson Parks and Recreation department will hold an open house on Thursday, July 20, 2017 to gather input on the preliminary master plan for a new progressive mountain bike skills park. The park would be located at Golf Links Road and Alvernon Way.

The new park will be constructed on land recently leased from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

The park will be fully open to the public and will have a variety of trails and features for youth and adult mountain bicyclists.

The open house will be held at Freedom Center, 5000 E. 29th Street Doors Open: 5:30 p.m. Presentation: 6 p.m. Question & Answer: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
