TUCSON – The Therapeutic Ranch for Animals and Kids, TRAK, added more summer camp sessions.
TRAK originally offered nine week-long summer camp sessions, but recently added three more. .
Scott Tilley, the Executive Director at TRAK, said it is a hands-on camp for kids ages 5 to 12.
He said during camp, kids will horseback ride, sort food for animals, do arts and crafts and experience all aspects of life on a ranch.
“We call it our TRAK magic," said Tilley. "The animals just have a way of making people open up and making difficult things a little bit easier to deal with.”
There are more than 70 animals on the ranch.

The camp costs $275 per child.
TRAK also offers horseback riding lessons, a life skills program, field trips, college intern programs, special needs programs and volunteer opportunities.
