Will your town break a record high this week?

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - Dangerous heat swarms the Sonoran Desert this week.

High pressure parks over the Grand Canyon State for the foreseeable future, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Excessive Heat Warnings are posted for all of Southern Arizona through Saturday evening as highs flirt with 110°+ in Tucson. Temperatures chase historic levels in the Old Pueblo this afternoon through Wednesday, with record heat expected Tuesday and Wednesday.

Complete outdoor activities each day by 9 AM. These temperatures can have dire health consequences if the proper precautions are not taken.
