Infant tragedy, defendants face judge

Posted: Updated:

Four people charged with killing a Tucson infant earlier this year, all went before a Pima County Superior Court judge on Monday.

The murder of Baby Wyllow has gotten a lot of attention, and even started a grassroots, social media effort, seeking ‘Justice for Baby Wyllow.’

Kaylie Gossett, Brianna Raidy, Jon-Paul Bogdanowich, Jr., and Wyllow's mother, Kylie Brewer, are all charged in the six-month old's murder.

Wyllow's autopsy revealed that before her death in February, she was malnourished, suffered blunt-force injuries, and was battling an infection.

The four defendants appeared in court on Monday. The three women, who are still in jail, were all sitting with their attorneys. Bogdanowich, Kylie Brewer's boyfriend, at the time of her daughter's death, is free on bond.

In a motion filed in Pima County Superior Court last week, Gossett asked for a reduction in her $10,000 r bond, or to have the conditions of her release modified. The judge will hear that request next week. The others who are charged with this infant tragedy will appear in court again on July 10 for a status conference.

The Facebook group, ‘Justice for Baby Wyllow’, has raised money for a memorial bench at Children's Memorial park. We're told that bench should be installed this summer. We'll keep you updated.
