University of Arizona grads capture perfect Tucson sunsets

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON - You may have already seen their drone video of Tucson on Facebook, since it's been shared more than 600 times.

Two University of Arizona grads spent the past year capturing the best parts of Tucson through the lens of a drone.

Bryan McAdams and Tony Baril both studied film and television at UA.

They used a Phantom 3 standard drone and Dji Osmo to capture sunsets from downtown Tucson to Mt. Lemmon.

"I would bring my drone with me to work so when I got off I could throw the drone in the air and I was very lucky to get some of the sunsets that I captured," said McAdams. "Sometimes I only had 10 minutes of sunset left after work and other times I had 20 minutes to drive to other locations before the sun would set."

Baril has moved to Phoenix, but he still comes down to capture the beauty of Tucson, said McAdams.

McAdams said the response to their video has been so positive, they plan on making another one.
