The tournament's overall No. 2 seed Arizona (48-7, 18-6 Pac-12) won its 11th conference title, earning the Pac-12 auto-bid to qualify for its 31st consecutive NCAA Tournament, a new NCAA record. South Carolina (32-23, 8-15 SEC) earned an at-large bid after a 10th-place finish in the SEC; the Gamecocks are making their 20th trip, including five straight, to the big dance. Saint Francis (48-9, 16-0 NEC) is making its first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Northeast Conference regular season and tournament championships. New Mexico State (29-23, 11-4 WAC) is making its third trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the WAC regular season and conference championships. All three of the Aggies' NCAA Regional appearances have come in Tucson.
