HSSA offers Rattlesnake avoidance courses

Posted: Updated:

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) is teaming up with experts and offering rattlesnake avoidance courses.
It's an attempt to educate the public on the potential dangers in the desert, that can occur while walking your dog.
Trainers teach pets to use their senses to recognize surrounding dangers....
The course is:

  • $99 for one dog
  • $79 to register a second dog.
  • Dogs must be six months of age or older and have proof of current vaccinations
  • Each dog in the course needs to be on a leash and handled by their owner

The event is held at the Companions for Life Center (3465 E. Kleindale Rd. Tucson, Arizona 85716) on March 7th, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Every Tuesday, through the summer.
