UA HiRISE photos make up book of Mars

Posted: Updated:

Get ready for a new book that will take your coffee table "out of this world."

University of Arizona scientist have put together 425 pages of captions and photos in the new book "Mars: The Pristine Beauty
of the Red Planet." The photos all come from the U of A's HiRISE  camera. It's been orbiting Mars on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter since 2006.
You can see some of Mars' mars deep canyon and craters like never before.
The HiRISE makes 13 trips around Mars daily. Surprisingly, the camera has only snapped 2.8% of the planets surface in the past 10 years.

The book is available at the UA bookstores and online for just $75.
