Arizona women's golf heads to regional in Georgia

The University of Arizona women's will head to Athens, Georgia to compete in the NCAA Regionals starting May 8th. The Cats will tee off Monday morning beginning at 8:27 a.m. EST. The tournament is a 54-hole stroke play format composing of three 18-hole rounds.
Competing for the Wildcats will be sophomore Haley Moore, junior Krystal Quihuis, senior Wanasa Zhou, senior Jessica Vasilic, and sophomore Gigi Stoll.
UA is the 4th seed in the regional and is competing alongside 17 other teams including top seeds, Alabama, Georgia, and Northwestern. The Cats are the lone Pac-12 school in the regional. The six teams with the lowest scores after three rounds of play will advance to the NCAA Championships at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
In last years NCAA Regional at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas the Wildcats finished in second place shooting even par for the tournament. Krystal Quihuis tied for eight place at one-under-par, and Gigi Stoll finished tied for 19th place.
