Starbucks host GED Day

In honor of G.E.D Day, coffee giant Starbucks is partnering with Chicanos por la Causa  and Rio Salado College.

On May 1, 2017, anyone in Arizona looking to earn a General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) can walk into one of 35 participating Starbucks, and register for G.E.D. preparation courses.

This is a state-wide event, but you can find 4 locations, right here in Tucson. Those looking to enroll can meet with a trained volunteer and complete an electronic assessment. It runs from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.
