Local vs National gas prices

Posted: Updated:

Gas prices are up this week. They jumped 3 cents from last week. According to AAA Arizona, we can blame the higher prices on an increased driving demand and a more expensive summer blend of gasoline. The national average for regular unleaded gasoline is $2.41. Arizona's average is at $2.30. Luckily, we here in Tucson have the lowest price in the state. It's sitting at $2.19. Flagstaff has the highest price in the state at $2.51. South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $2.13 a gallon. California the highest at $3.01 per gallon.
