4 Your Health: Cancer treatment with yoga and news for night owls

Posted: Updated:

Tucson- A new study reveals that yoga can help men cope with side effects while being treated for prostate cancer.

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, found patients who attended two yoga classes a week, during radiation, had less fatigue than those who did not do yoga.

Yoga patients also reported better sexual and urinary function.

Night owl gene

If you tend to be a night owl it may be in your DNA.

Scientists have identified a gene mutation that delays the body's internal clock. Carriers of this gene had nighttime sleep delays of two to two and a half hours as well as irregular sleep patterns.

But not all night owls can blame this gene for their sleep woes, the mutation only affects about 10 percent of the population.
