BOTSWANA - It appears as though the African nation of Botswana has been struck with the largest earthquake in its history. The 6.8 magnitude fortunately struck in a very remote area.
The large quake was felt all the way in South Africa - a county that was also rocked by a smaller tremor today. It is unknown the extend of damage or injuries with the historic quake that struck at 5:40 local time.
Quakes of this size are rare in this part of the world and experts say it's the strongest on record.
